You Might Be Able To DIY Printed Touch Screens One Day [VIDEO]

How would you like to be able to print out and cut out your own flexible touchscreen? A team at Saarland University and MIT Media Lab have come up with a way to do just that.
This could bring touch-enabled interfaces into the homes of creative people. You can pretty much print up your interface on an inkjet printer using conductive ink and it creates nodes that connect to a main controller in the center of your paper or cloth.
The team discovered that by keeping the controller in the center and running a separate wire to each node, it will guarantee that after cutting the material, the touch interface will still work. Imagine using an interactive tablecloth!
