Can you still be surprised that the government has been spying on your phone calls? Here are some sketchy arrangements the CIA has with AT&T.

They have been paying the telco $10 million a year to spy on phone calls. The CIA simply gives AT&T a list of numbers, and AT&T voluntarily serves up the data. The calls are mainly phone records of overseas terrorism suspects.
