This "tough economy" has left more men than women unemployed. And apparently, the bros aren't taking it all too well. But unfortunately, they're also taking it all out on their relationships.

According to a study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, while women with successful significant others are content with their relationship, guys didn't feel the same way when the roles are reversed.

The male participants in the study reported to have "subconsciously felt worse about themselves when they thought about a time when their female partner thrived in a situation in which they had failed." Apparently, the men automatically interpret their partner’s success as their own failure, even when they’re not in direct competition.

So ladies, if you're guy has been acting like a sulky teenager because he's secretly threatened by your success, either talk it out or ditch that deadweight.
