Fashion is more than just about trying to predict the next big trend. This upcoming documentary titled 'The Next Black' attempts to explore the future of the fashion industry in the technological era.

In order to find out, directors David Dworsky and Victor Köhler interviewed businesses and designers to ask their viewpoints on the future of sustainability, technology and mass production.

The 30-minute documentary was produced by home appliance manufacturer AEG, in collaboration with production company House of Radon, and will premiere on May 21. For a glimpse of what's to come, check out the trailer below:
