These 1,600 Fake Pandas Represent a Shocking Number
2014.05.07
French artist Paulo Grangeon and the World Wildlife Fund made 1,600 papier-mache pandas and have been touring them through Rome and Paris, before making a stop in 10 major Asian cities.
Every papier-mache panda represents one of the only 1,600 pandas that are left in the wild. It may look like a large crowd of pandas when put together in these spaces, but it's a misconception once you realize that it represents the entire panda population of the world!
