"The Topless Tour" Involves Women Posting Back Photos of Places They Visit
2014.06.12
Created by British students, Olivia Edginton, Lydia Buckler and Ingvild Marstein Olsen, the Topless Tour encourages women to send in topless photos of their backs only on Instagram as part of "The Topless Tour". It is pretty straight forward: show off your back on social media at the places you visit.
Here's a sample:
The "tour" began in 2012 and it features mostly women posing against dramatic backgrounds. Sometimes they mix it up a bit with yoga poses. Some view it as a refreshing way to embrace your own body. Others say it is free and liberating.
The Topless Tour account has over 22,000 followers now.
Even men are joining the movement.
