The Spice Girls were so crazy famous, it seemed like you had to hide under a rock and under another to avoid them. Which is why everyone is probably familiar with this: "Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want."

According to the BBC, Dr. John Ashley Burgoyne of the University of Amsterdam found that their hit "Wannabe" is probably the most catchy song ever.

He teamed up with the University of Manchester to create a game called Hooked on Music to help determine what makes music memorable. Users will have to listen to clips of popular songs and see if they can continue the melody on their own.

While that doesn't prove that Wannabe is the catchiest song ever, it does make you wonder just how many people know their hit single.
