Love is gone! At least, just the locks on Paris's Pont des Arts bridge. Hundreds of thousands of love-locks placed there by couples demonstrating their eternal connection has been cleared by authorities.

The Pont des Arts partially collapsed in June last year, causing city officials to wonder if it was really worth preserving.

Obviously, not.

Nearly one million padlocks, or 45 tons will be removed. That's a lot of love!
