How classy can McDonald's get? This newly designed one in Rotterdam might just be the classiest one it's got. It is nestled in one of the city's most popular shopping streets in Coolsingel, which has been occupied by them for over 45 years already.

This is how it looks like after its new face lift:

It features a perforated golden facade and spiral staircase.

It admittedly doesn't look anything like a McDonald's.

It was designed by a team from Dutch firm Mei Architects.

It looks very beautiful at night.

The design was meant to blend around its surroundings.

There are panels of gold-anodized aluminum dotted with small heart-shaped perforations showing off a pixelated image of a crowd of people.
