2015.09.04
Here's some bad news for the kids whose parents have cheated. The likelihood of cheating on a significant other might be higher because of them. According to new research conducted at the Texas Tech University and University of Nevada, it suggests that cheating may run in the family.
According to 300 participants who were analyzed, researchers tried to see if a correlaton existed between parents' infidelity and one's own tendency to cheat.
Over 30% of the participants admitted to cheating on a partner, and 33% revealed that one or both of their parents had committed adultery.
The researchers found that an estimated 44% of those who cheated also had parents who cheated.
This suggests that having an unfaithful parent may increase the chances of their children's likeliness to cheat.
What do you think? Does cheating run in the family?
