Remember Daniel Fleetwood? The 32-year-old was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer and doctors don't expect him to make it until Christmas, sadly. The super Star Wars fan asked if he could watch the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens before it came out.

Via Telegraph:

Fleetwood has been a Star Wars fan since he was eight. When he was 21 his local newspaper ran a story about how he camped outside his cinema for days in order to be the first person to get a ticket to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He had been the first person to get tickets for the previous two movies.

Today he got his wish. Disney studio execs showed up at his home to let him watch an unedited version of the new Star Wars. Via:

Daniel’s wife, Ashley, tells us he loved the movie. She can’t say much more because she had to sign a confidentiality agreement. She says they watched on their own TV, but it was played from Disney’s equipment — gotta make sure the flick doesn’t get jacked.

Abrams put in a phone call to Daniel before they rolled the movie, which Ashley says really made Daniel’s day.

Big win for Daniel. Bro-move by Disney.
