The folks from Cut Video have finally debuted 100 years of Chinese beauty, featuring the different and evolving fashiion trends in the country over the past century. Robin Park, video researcher for WatchCut, said that some of the looks focused internally on China, while others were more influenced by Western countries.

China turned toward free market in the ’80s, which meant even more foreign influence. This look was all about the big perm seen in the West.
