Skyscraper Futurist Wants To Change The Way We Build Skyscrapers

Skyscrapers might be cropping up everywhere, but one Russian architect and skyscraper futurist thinks it's high time that architects start focusing more on the design aspect instead of just building something that's tall and expensive-looking.
According to Vasily Klyukin, today's skyscrapers have become like "architectural phallic symbols that do little to reflect their host city's cultural heritage." Klyukin seeks to challenge and inspire other architects to design structures that will stand the test of time.
To help them out, Klukin's has released a book titled "Designing Legends", which features a collection of 50 concept buildings that challenge what he considers the "monotonicity of skyline architecture." Check out some of the breathtaking designs below:
