Peter Jackson's Private Jet Will Be Used To Search For Flight MH370
2014.04.02
According to reports, Sir Peter Jackson's private jet will be used to search for the Boeing 777 that went missing on March 8. The director purchased the jet back in March 2013 so that he could travel nonstop from his home in New Zealand to Los Angeles, where much of his filmmaking work takes place.
Valued at $80 million, the Gulfstream G650 has a top speed of 708 miles per hour and can cover a distance of 8,053 miles before it has to refuel. The plane will be used to relay communications for other aircraft that are a part of the search.
