If you've got a fear of heights, this post isn't going to help with overcoming it. 1. Shanghai Pearl Tower in China

This TV tower was the largest structure in China for more than a decade. You can see the entire Shanghai skyline from here.

2. Blackpool Tower, England

Blackpool Tower stands at a height of 518 feet, with an observation deck at the very top, overlooking the piers and amusements of this Victorian town.

3. The Grand Canyon Skywalk

The Grand Canyon Skywalk has a viewing platform that is a straight 700 foot drop. You'll want to hang on tight.

4. Half Dome Mountain, Yosemite National Park, USA

This ancient granite dome rises more than 4,700 feet above the valley floor. Needless to say, that's a very very long fall.

5. Langkawi Sky Bridge, Malaysia

The most terrifying skybridge ever? It is 410 feet long and 2,300 feet above sea level. Imagine the photographs from here.

6. Rooftop swimming pool at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore

Swim high up 57 stories at this triple-skyscraper hotel with a beautiful skyline view of the city.

7. Burj Khalifa in Dubai

Burj Khalifa stands at 2,700 feet tall. You can overlook Dubai from its observation deck.

8.Walk of Faith, China

The Walk of Faith is a glass walkway on the side of the 4700 foot tall Zhangjiajie Tianmen.

9. Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand

Sky Tower stands at 1,000 feet tall and dominates the Auckland skyline. You can go for a walk on the top of the tower, or bungee jump off it. If you dare.

10. Tokyo Skytree

The Skytree is the tallest tower in the world and the second tallest structure, at a height of 2080 feet.

11. Harbor Bridge Climb in Sydney, Australia

The bridge overlooks Port Jackson. There's also a 440 foot high bridge you can walk atop.

12. Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, England

Spinnaker Tower is 560 foot tall and has an observation platform made with only a wire mesh roof. Will it hold you?

13. Lion’s Head Mountain over Cape Town, South Africa

Lion’s Head overlooks Cape Town and completely eclipses man made structures at 2,200 feet tall.

14. Trolltunga Cliff in Norway

Trolltunga hovers 2,300 feet above lake Ringedalsvatnet. Think Lion King?

15. Skydecks at the top of the Willis (Sears) Tower, Chicago

“The Ledge” is a glass balcony suspended 1300 feet in the air. Although not quite the "Aiguille du Midi", it is certainly scary enough too. The glass panes can take a weight of 10,000 pounds.

16. Mont Blanc, French Alps

At 12,600 feet, Aiguille du Midi peak is a glass cage named “Step into the Void.” It is the world's highest glass floor. Pray it doesn't break when you're on it.

17. The bridge between the Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Petronas Twin Towers stand at 1,500 foot tall. The bridge between them is only about ⅓ of the way up, around 550 feet. The bridge also moves a little if the winds are strong. Add that to the scary factor.

18. CN Tower in Toronto

The CN Tower is a 1,800 foot high communications and observation tower. Nuff said.
