There's just so many things that can go wrong while wearing a suit. To avoid mistakes, always remember to do the little things. It is the smallest details that make a look perfect. Here are some rules to remember.
1. A double vent in the back of the suit gives it a more modern look.
2. Go for thin lapels. They look more modern.
3. Your jacket should fall around your pant zipper, or at the middle of your palm when you put your hands down at the side of your thighs.
4. The width of your tie should be the same as the width of your lapel.
5. Your tie should never go past your belt.
6. Unbutton your jacket when you sit down.
7. Fold your pants with the Savile Row Fold so they never fall off the hanger again.
8. Make sure your socks are long enough to cover your legs when you sit down.
9. Leave the last button undone when wearing a vest.
10. You should only show half an inch of your sleeve cuffs.
