A week ago, we discovered how we have been using chopsticks wrong all this while! The thick top part of the disposable chopsticks have been discovered to be a chopstick rest to keep your utensils off the table while eating.

Up until now.

The chopstick rest was actually a prototype designed for an international contest held by MUJI.
