2020.10.29
Whose birthday is it? The kid’s? Your’s? Your husband’s? Your wife’s? Whomever birthday is on the way, every human deserves to be celebrated each time the calender counts to the day they were born. Birthdays are a dejavu and should be treated as such. Right? So to speak, if you agreed with me all the while, chances are that you’re looking to make the coming birthday the best so far. That is why I have taken the pain to show you a step-by-step guide on how to plan a great birthday event without making the local news headline for the first human being to break the bank to cover a birthday costs. Without any much ado, let’s dive straight into it.
First thing first…
Make A Guest List
You don’t want to be in your party all by yourself. So, it makes sense to put your guest first. Suppose it’s your own party, you already know who you want to be a part of the party and who you don’t want to be there. Right? But suppose you were planning the party for someone else, then you want to ask them the number of guests that they want invited. So, yes, make a guest list.
Sending out Invitations
Almost everyone finds it pretty hard to navigate busy plans. And you don’t want to bite into the time and schedule of your potential guests. That is why it’s important to send out your invitation cards a month before the D-day. Inside your invitation card, ask your guests if they will be able to make it or not. Going by the responses from your invitees, you finally know who’s coming and that will help you through the remaining work down below.
The Cake!
Do you want to be the one to decide your birthday cake or you’d rather listen to the collective opinions of your guests? Okay, the latter might sound crazy but people do it. Anywhoo, whichever the case may be, you can visit https://www.emicakes.com.sg/chocolate-cakes for the best birthday cake of the flavor, size, and design of your choice. Note, your cake must be big enough to keep all mouth munching and lips smacking while it should also not be in excess so much that you end up throwing leftovers away. Yes, that shit happens.
Venue
A lot of things has to be considered when chosing a birthday venue. But the most important to be factored in is the number of your guests which you already know from step 2 above the previous cake step. Other than guest size, you should also consider your budget, distance of venue from the collective homes of your guests, and the weather condition. Here is an example; suppose your guests all live in the same neighbourhood with you and you’re on a low budget, a house party will be great for a small audience in winter. For the sam size of guests in the same scenario but in summer, your garden can be transformed to a birthday venue. Yes, outdoor parties are great.
Food And Music
If you can afford a band, go for it. If you’d rather have your favorite DJ do the music handling and you have the money, go for it. It’s your day. Same goes for food. But in the case of food, you want to make sure that the kind of food and drinks you’re giving your guests blend with the weather condition. Not everybody wants to eat iceballs in Winter. I’d rather do hot cappuccino. Okay, I am not a guest of yours.
