Of all the animals in the ocean, the last thing you'd be threatened off would have to be the funny-looking seahorse. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for their tiny crustacean prey called copepods.
The shape of a seahorse’s head is actually perfectly adapted to getting close to prey without being noticed. It can detect even the slightest of ripples in the surrounding water, which makes a big difference for these slow-swimming seahorses. Here's a video of one such 'ninja seahorse' slowly stalking its prey:
