Converse followed up their collaboration with Dr. Romanelli with another "Boro" sneaker. The American sneaker brand decided to work once again with boro, a collectible Japanese material whose patchwork pattern makes each pair unique. Built using an indigo patchwork composition for the upper, the pattern is a tribute to the days when reworking and recycling material scraps were an economically imposed necessity, where exposed stitching finishes and mismatched fabric patterns further emphasize the origins of the design technique.
