This Unshorn Sheep Is Virtually Unrecognizable (Pic)
You might not believe it, but there's a sheep somewhere inside that giant wooly ball. Back in 2004, this sheep called Shrek made headlines after hiding away in a South Island New Zealand cave for six years.
Not surprisingly, the townsfolk were pretty baffled when Shrek finally decided he needed a trim. "We didn't know he was there," a New Zealand local told BBC when Shrek was found. "He looked like some biblical creature."
It took 30 minutes to finish the job, which ended up yielding 60 pounds of fleece which BBC says is enough to make "20 large men's suits." Shrek eventually died in 2011, but at least his legend will live on indefinitely.
