Cosmopolitan magazine is doing pretty well for their digital division. Its been able to amass more than 100,000 paid subscribers to its digital editions according to parent company Hearst.

They began their digital subscription offerings through Zinio in late 2004, and they've also been made available on Barnes & Noble's Nook in November 2010, and Amazon's Kindle in November 2011 and Apple's iPad in March 2010.

Cosmo's digital editions are surprisingly more expensive than its print editions, in the U.S. at least. Print only subscriptions cost $15 per year or $12 per yea for a three year commitment through Cosmo's website and third party retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Subscriptions are priced at $19.99 per year through zinio and Apple's NewsStand.

Hearst added that it has sold more than 500,000 digital subscriptions to its portfolio of magazines to date and is still on track to surpass the 1 million digital subscriber mark by the end of the year.
