LG has announced that it is bringing Smart Video, a feature using eye recognition to control video playback on the Optimus G Pro. Smart Video will let the phone recognize the position of your eyes and automatically play or stop a video based on whether you're looking at the screen.

“LG is continuously innovating to offer creative ways to offer a user experience that adds value to our customers,” said Jong-seok Park, company president and CEO. “It’s the positive user experience that will differentiate smartphones in 2013 and beyond, not only cutting-edge hardware specs.”

LG is also introducing a new dual camera function that will simultaneously capture photos from the handset's front and rear cameras and allow you to create a picture in a picture image.
