Back in 1921, psychologist Carl Jung invented a psychometric test called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which Jung claimed he could accurately boil down the psychological types of humans into 16 major categories.

These metrics, which are still in use today, help in determining a person's character traits - introversion (I) vs. extroversion (E) or thinking (T) vs. feeling (F). The results would then produce an acronym that best describes the individual (e.g. “ISTJ” is for an Introvert-Sensing-Thinking-Judging person).

Using this, publishers of the Myers-Briggs personality assessment CPP  decided to come up with this infographic showing the various psychological types most likely to participate on specific social networks.

Among the results, extroverts were reported to use Facebook more than introverts; and people with inclinations toward Feeling spend more time browsing and interacting with people on Facebook, rather than those who tend toward Thinking. View the rest by scrolling below:
