How To Make Watermelon Juice Using Just A Drill and Coat Hanger
Nothing is more refreshing on a hot summer's day than a glass of fresh cool watermelon juice, But what if you don't happen to have a blender or juicer at home? Instructables user Miss Cabbit demonstrates how you can still enjoy a pitcher of tasty juice using an electric drill, a coat hanger, a mesh strainer, and a chilled watermelon.
The steps show that you need to first shape the hanger to resemble a whisk and attach it into the chuck of your drill to make a makeshift handheld blender. Then cut a small hole in the top off the watermelon and insert the whisk part into the watermelon before drilling around the interior to crudely blend the fruit. Finally, put a mesh strainer over a bowl and empty the contents of the watermelon into the strainer.
